So I woke up to find that I had been featured...like full-on featured by Distorted Smile for my "Glamour/Pin-Up" work  [link] and in my long ass thank you note....which I'm pretty sure became a rant somewhere around somewhere....I said my piece on in my opinion the hard part about being a "picture-taker vs a picture-maker" for me.................. here's that piece.....

"I've been at this for a while since I made the transition from Body-paint Artist to Photographer/Editor about 3yrs ago and while "Art" and being artistic has always come easy...being a photographer v.s. being a traditional artist has never failed to have its one terrifying constant.....
Picking the "One",the one picture out of hundreds sometimes thousands....and saying "Here, this is my work...this is what I do"....its friggin scary as hell...having such a lack of control over your medium..while having total control over it all at the same time....with drawing or painting its a matter of taking whats in your head and re-creating it (but its yours to shape and mold and change it ultimately)
However, with photography its all already there right in front of you flaws,perfections,and colors all pre-chosen and waiting to defy all your "creativity" at every step.....but it happens (to some more than others) it happens....that fuckin awesome moment when you take a picture and when its all done its as tho you made it up...like painting with the world and drawing on a breathing canvas it moved with you...and you created something unquestionable "ART"......
Whether its a semi naked woman (which in my case it probably is ) or a  fully naked bridge and all the amazing unclothed things in-between ITS ART! If you feel it and you meant it and you made it, y'know....
So thank you ! 'cause as scary as this all is sometimes..... I still love it...and am blown away every day to see that others love it too.....

If you're wondering about my pick "one" statement....I know its not a real burden...like you can pick more than one..but In my personal experience the viewer will more often than not find that "one" picture even in a series and see it as the definitive piece....thus judging and viewing all of it with one picture.....If you've been watching me for a while or have spent some time on my gallery...you may have noticed that there isn't like ten pictures from any one particular look/shoot....and that's just me... but personally I cant do it...I see other photogs posting and uploading whole sessions....whew...more power to them!....I  just cant....I might do two maybe three (if I really loved the session) but 6 and 7 pics....hahahaha never gonna happen...I honestly feel like I'm bogging you guys down with three pics from the same shoot...lol....like "Hollow....jeez we've seen this shit already!" ....but I'm paranoid about all the wrong things...lol..I know this
